• waiting

I did absolutely nothing to the shed today as I didn’t have the materials to do so and I didn’t have the means to get the materials I did attempt to sketch out the roof but that didn’t turn out well and I end up throwing the picture away

  • Screw it all

Today I didn’t do to much to the shed all I did was put in a bunch more screws to help hold every thing together while I take a little break from the shed. hopefully the next step will be getting the roof framing done and then Ill be onto the exterior and making it look pretty

  • Walls Walls and more Walls pt.2

I finished the last two frames for my shed walls making the front panel was a pain in my ass.

  • walls,walls and more walls

Today I put up three of my four walls the back and the two side walls. this process took me about 2 hours and for the first two walls my father helped out but by the third wall I had it all on my own. I learned that you could attach a beam going across the wall from the floor to help hold the walls together until you moved on to the next part.

  • Floor building and other sins

So I’ve finally leveled the blocks that are my foundation now what. Well obviously I’m gonna build my floor which took me far less time than leveling did me and my father spent maybe an hour putting that thing together and I had cut all the boards a day before. when we had the frame all done and laid down on the foundation is when I realized two of our blocks were off which meant I had to reposition them which took about another hour but once that was done it was just a matter of screwing on the ply wood.

  • changing location and other mishaps

So I bought the materials to begin the floor and supports and to start I had to dig level holes for the cinder blocks the shed would sit on which is hard when the ground is as soft as it is we had to change the location of the shed as the first place had to much water in the ground and would have caused the shed to sink over time. it started raining about half way threw working on the holes which made them easier to dig but harder to level. the price for all of the stuff I’ve bought so far comes to around 290 dollars.
